I bought this Barbie for my 5 year old to play with in our swimming pool, however, when I purchased it I did not read closely that in order for the Barbie to change color, she must be immersed in cold water (i.e. water with ice). When she is dry or in room temperature water, she wears a pink bikini and her dive equipment is also pink. When immersed in ice water, her bikini changes to a blue one piece swimsuit and her equipment turns blue. Included are two dolphins which also have color changing flowers stamped on them. My daughter enjoys playing with the doll and dolphins in the pool, but in order for the doll to color change, we must have a bucket of ice water nearby. If the doll changed colors when immersed in any temperature water, it would be more useful for play in the pool or bathtub.
